Job Title: Houseman

Reports To: Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor

Purpose of Position: To maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of public areas, and back-of-the-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors.
• Clean and maintain back-of-the-house areas, including laundry rooms, storage rooms, and employee areas.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a professional appearance and attitude.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and damp or humid conditions.
